Standard Rates

Note: We are not contracted with any insurance companies, third party administrators, employee assistance programs (EAP), or government funding.

If your insurance policy has out-of-network coverage for the type of services you receive with us, we will provide a document which you can use to submit to the insurance on your own for out-of-network reimbursement after paying us.

For a licensed therapist:

  • $120 for regular-length sessions (45-50 minutes)

  • $175 for extended sessions (75-85 minutes)

For a master’s level, non-licensed therapist:

  • $100 for regular-length sessions (45-50 minutes)

  • $145 for extended sessions (75-85 minutes)

These are standard rates. If you are committed to your counseling but have a financial hardship, you may request we negotiate the rate. We may require financial records to determine the reduced rate. Reduced rates may be for a limited time basis and then re-evaluated.

You are also entitled to an estimate of the cost for the course of treatment each year.

Phone calls outside of scheduled sessions:

In order to respect the time of both you and the therapist, we do charge for phone conversations that exceed 15 minutes. The rate for that fee is one dollar per minute (includes the first 15 minutes). There is no charge if the phone call is 15 minutes or less.

Writing reports or letters:

If your case involves writing a report, such as for a third party like a school or court, the rate is $1 per minute if it exceeds 15 minutes to write (includes the first 15 minutes).

Marital Couples Intensives:

Option 1 (a mix of individual and joint couples sessions over two weeks): $800. Due up front.

Option 2 (two-day intensive): $780. Due up front.

Cancelation Policy

Our appointment times are sacred. Counseling is most effective when you attend frequently and regularly (especially in the beginning). The session begins at the agreed upon time, whether or not you arrive on time, especially if your therapist might have another appointment after you. If your therapist is unable to start on time, we ask for your understanding, and we will provide you the full session length.

When you must cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. Please provide a reason for your cancelation, even if you are canceling late. We will take extenuating circumstances into serious consideration.

We request a credit card be kept on file for charges accrued when you are not in the office, such as missed appointment fees, phone calls, and documentation requests.
