Our Team of Therapists

Andrew Rodriguez, LPC

Hi, I’m the owner and director of Integrity Christian Counseling. My passion is to help people discover and live out their true identities. As a Christian therapist, I understand counseling as a vital part of discipleship and growth.

I obtained my BS in Psychology from Valley Forge Christian College (now University of Valley Forge) and my MS in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College (I also completed coursework at Lancaster Bible College and Cairn University). My clinical training is in psychodynamic approaches, SAFE-T (Sexual Attraction Fluidity Exploration in Therapy), EMDR and other trauma reprocessing strategies, and some mindfulness and CBT approaches. I am a certified in Reintegrative Therapy, an approach for trauma and addictions found helpful in exploring change in sexual feelings. For clients seeking a faith-based approach, I incorporate overtly Christian practices, such as prayer and biblical insight. I primarily do individual therapy, but will include other loved ones as necessary.

While I see clients with a variety of issues, I also specialize in trauma and sexual struggles, such as unwanted sexual behaviors and attractions. I am a member of The Alliance for Therapeutic Choice & Scientific Integrity, a board member of Voice of the Voiceless, a group that advocates for the rights of ex-LGBT; and an affiliate counselor with Restored Hope Network. I also do speaking and equipping of churches to understand and address matters around sexuality, such as with ReStory Ministries. For more on my work in these areas, you can visit my YouTube channel, PsychoBible.

I am also the campus counselor at University of Valley Forge, and I have years of experience in children and youth ministry.

Gina Griffin, LPC

Are you going through a difficult time? Counseling is provided in a warm atmosphere that promotes healing and growth. Together we can work through issues and explore solutions to meet your unique goals. I earned a Master’s Degree for counseling with a focus on Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) through which I have earned status as a National Certified Counselor and Board Certified Christian Counselor. I have also completed the required training to be a Clinical Trauma Professional. I have a passion for helping couples and family members heal and restore relationships. Support and guidance are provided in a friendly and nonjudgmental environment.

Through counseling, clients work towards resolving relationship issues and behavioral problems that affect their well-being or relationships. Utilizing a systemic perspective helps couples and family members to process conflict and to develop a treatment plan which helps them resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction. An integrated counseling approach to treatment which includes techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is used to explore needs and provide support as families and couples develop emotional bonds that promote growth, healing, and relationship enhancement. Play therapy interventions are used to help children resolve social, emotional, and behavioral problems. As an ordained minister and Christian counselor, I enjoy helping clients explore their spirituality and develop strategies to integrate their beliefs and values into the therapeutic process in order to meet their unique needs.

Gina also conducts our marital couples intensives.

Stephanie Miller, MS

In a social media-saturated age, life can be made to look perfect. But no matter how things look on the outside, we all experience challenges. Especially as many things we enjoy have “gone virtual,” we can feel discouraged and alone.

But being heard by a caring and compassionate listener who believes in our value and potential to succeed can help. Acknowledging negative emotions helps us better defuse them and strengthens our coping muscles, promoting resiliency, and leading to better mental health overall.

Some of the outcomes I’ve helped my clients achieve are:

• Improved confidence and self-concept

• Social skills; forming and maintaining healthy friendships

• Coping with separation, divorce, or other changes in family structure

I know the value of counseling through my experience as a counselor and as a client. It brings me joy to help clients meet their challenges, embrace their strengths, and not only realize their unique capabilities, but thrive.

I received my M.S. in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University, completing my internship at North Coventry Elementary School. My 10+ years of formal work experience has primarily been with children and their families in therapeutic, educational, and home settings. I’ve also mentored economically disadvantaged high school students, helped teach therapeutic horseback riding to youth with special needs, provided support to patients diagnosed with colon cancer, and currently serve as a deacon at my church.

We all have challenges that we face as individuals, but we are not designed to face them alone. Although each person has experienced something no other person has, therapy offers a place for individuals, couples, or families to process with someone who listens, empathizes, and cares. Riding the line between professional and personal, I provide empathetic support based on each person’s needs and goals. I have worked with children, teens, and adults for many years through various programs and services both within and outside of church environments. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 2019 and completed my master’s degree in clinical mental health in 2021.

When it comes to therapy, I have worked mostly with teens and adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I use an integrated approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I work with clients to help them identify thoughts and behaviors that cause distress. Personal understanding and self-care are major aspects of how people identify to themselves, their relationships, and to their communities.

Holly Butcher

Hello, my name is Holly Butcher and I am a Music Therapist.

Have you ever found yourself listening to a song and the lyrics express exactly what you were going through or feeling? The instrumentation in a song awakens you, making you feel less tired, angry, or down. Music activates the brain and can help identify emotions and create a setting that inspires improved mood, thoughts, and feelings. Music has been shown to lower levels of anxiety, blood pressure, and pain. Music helps us process grief and work through depression. It can directly affect stress-inducing hormones. When we play an instrument like a drum or shaker, we activate good hormones that make us feel happy or relieve pain.

I have a Music Degree from Eastern University and a Music Therapy Degree from Rowan University. I have had experience working with those with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, aging, and Alzheimer's/dementia and their caregivers.

During Music Therapy sessions we will listen to or create music that is centered around your mental health goals. You don't have to be a musician to come to music therapy. If music therapy sounds interesting to you as a means to process what is going on in your life, please reach out. I think all ages can benefit from Music Therapy. I specialize in helping women. For an explanation of music therapy, see this video and here are demos of lyric analysis and lyric replacement techniques.

I put my trust in Christ as my Savior back in 1996. I am grateful to God for how He has used music to uplift me and speak to me through the ups and downs of life. I write my own music which I perform for friends, family, and public venues. I have worked as a worship leader at churches around PA and NJ. I also have served in kid ministries and as a youth leader. I have helped with women's ministries by providing worship music. I am married with 4 kids. I teach piano and voice lessons in the Pottstown community as well.

I look forward to serving you at Integrity Christian Counseling while using music as a means to help bring good mental health!

“He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.” Psalm 23:2‭-‬3 NLT.
